Marlyn Byrd has been named Barbershopper of the Year for 2020.

Jim Schaeffer was named Barbershopper of the year for 2021.

(The double presentation was a result of the Pandemic).

The Desert Aires Barbershop Chorusis more than just an a cappella ensemble, it is a family. We love getting together each week, and sharing friendships as well as great music.

Our Chorus has over 70 members with an average age of 76. They represent 23 different states prior to moving to Arizona.

Our Chorus has won Division A Plateau championship for several years.

 

If you like to sing, you're invited to visit the Desert Aires and discover great harmony at work! Sitting in on one of our rehearsals is the perfect way to find out more about us, and what we can do for you!

You'll have the opportunity to hear us perform four-part, a cappella harmony, and you'll be invited to join us to experience the music, friendship and fun for which the Desert Aires Chorus is known!

We have removed our Covid Protocol guidelines, however, to attend our rehearsals, we encourage you to use good judgement.


If you are experiencing any of the following: not feeling well, have a sore throat, coughing (not due to allergies), have a runny nose, or just don't feel healthy - - - please visit us when you are better. We want to remain a healthy chorus.
