Ken Corns - lead Born and grew up in Ecorse, Michigan . Now, a twenty year resident of Sun City Grand, and really loves all the activities, especially the music programs. Performed with a variety of vocal musical groups - High School in Ecorse, Michigan, University of Michigan, and Church Choirs Sang briefly with the Grandtones, a Doo Wop Group in Sun City Grand, and sang five years with a Jazz vocal group in Sun City Grand, Jazzmatazz. Barbershop Chorus' - Beginning in 1984 in Denver with The Denver Mile High Chorus, then Sound of the Rockies Chorus; after moving to Arizona joined the Phabulous Phoenicians; and currently sings with the DesertAires in Sun City. Barbershop Quartet singing since the 1950's, and a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, formally known as The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, Inc., which was quite a mouthful. The society was founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1938. Singing Lead (melody line) with the following Denver quartets, Technical Difficulties; Senior Discount; Sound Distinction; and Foothills Phonics; currently in the Phoenix West Valley, The Rainbow Quartet. "We all love the hobby, and enjoy performing. We are grateful that God has blessed each of us with the ability to sing and entertain."
Aaron Burleson - baritone Aaron Burleson, is the baritone (which is affectionately referred to as the “garbage part”) of the quartet. He is originally from Tupelo,Mississippi. He and his wife Patti have 3 kids and 13 grandchildren. He started singing barbershop in the early 80's with the Sugar Cane Chorus in Baton Rouge, LA. (and no, he doesn’t like crawfish). In 1988 he took a hiatus from barbershop singing and resumed in 2006 when he moved to CA where he sang in 2 separate barbershop choruses in the Los Angeles Area. After buying property in Sun City West in 2015, Aaron joined the Desert Aires and moved full time to Sun City West in 2017. Aaron is also a member of the Phoenicians Barbershop Chorus. He has sung with 5 different barbershop choruses. Presently Aaron is serving as President of the Desert Aires and board member-at-large with the Phonecians. Not wanting to officially retire, he now finds enjoyment in remodeling houses. Contact the Rainbow Quartet
