The Desert Aires Barbershop Chorus presents “Everyone In Harmony” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Sundial auditorium, 14801 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.

This will be he 50th annual show of the Sun Cities Desert Aires Barbershop Chorus. The chorus was formed in 1976 by West Valley residents with a love for singing this harmonic barbershop music. It was, and is, their desire to preserve this nostalgic music form.

The Desert Aires Barbershop Chorus continues to win awards in annual competitions. They are the 2025 Far West District Arizona Division champs. They can be heard performing a cappella, close four-part harmony at various community events in the West Valley tthroughout year.  The Desert Aires has earned the right for the past 2 years to compete internationally in the Senior’s Chorus competition.

Yes Dear” is this year’s featured quartet. Formed in April 2023 when two married couples with deep barbershop roots decided to enter the Arizona Divisional Contest “just for fun.” They quickly realized they had something special, winning with a high score, and have been singing together ever since.

Just a few months later, Yes Dear went on to win the 2023 Far Western District Contest and placed 25th at the 2025 International Contest — solidifying their spot as an up-and-coming force in the barbershop world.
